The Snake Ferrum is a voracious eater (though, not quite the ravenous monster his sister is) and will come out of his hide when he thinks food is on the way. He's not the brightest bulb in the box, however; I still catch him trying to eat his rodents sideways every so often.
The Element Iron is well-known for its strength...and its corrosive tendency. Iron easily oxidizes in air to form iron oxide--also known as rust. Iron is responsible for the color of our blood and the color of Martian rocks.
